About Us
Our History
Founded by Bob Rogers in 1983, Rogers Word Service began as a general administrative support company. Over the past 25 years we have been hard at work providing a variety of text-related services to clients nationwide. While we have evolved primarily into a Transcription Service, we still do a significant amount of editing, proofreading and document preparation as well. Originally staffed by part-time musicians and writers, our current group of talented full time transcriptionists still represents our creative roots, and fueled by massive amounts of coffee, we continue to toil away in our offices in the Glenwood South district of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina.
Our Staff
In addition to excellent typing skills, superior transcription requires an aptitude for language, a dedication to detail and the dexterity to master a wide range of materials. We are proud to say that our staff consists of such highly trained, intelligent individuals with a variety of backgrounds and areas of expertise. Additionally, all of our transcriptionists are employees of Rogers Word Service who actually work in our offices. Your transcription is never outsourced to independent at-home transcribers or offshored to foreign companies. We believe these workforce attributes help to ensure that your work is always in competent hands.
Our Clients
During our 25 years of operation we have built a loyal and diverse clientele nationwide. These clients include medical and legal professionals, academic researchers, film and video production houses, advertising and market research organizations, government agencies, major corporations, small businesses and individuals. So whether your material is legal, medical, corporate, academic, advertising/marketing, pharmaceutical/biotech, production/broadcast or none of the above, chances are we’ve got you covered.
Our Confidentiality Policy
We understand the sensitive and highly confidential nature of the material you entrust to us. That’s part of the reason that all of your work is performed in-house. Additionally, we require every employee to sign a non-disclosure agreement before joining our team, and we routinely sign such agreements with our clients as well. Our servers and digital systems are secured to prevent unauthorized access, and we can encrypt archives and sensitive electronic communications to ensure privacy and adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
